On November 4, 2014, the Senate passed Bill C-36, ushering in prevention legislation that became law in December of 2014.  For all of you who contacted your members of Parliament over the last couple years, thank you!

 

There is no longer a need to send in letters to your MP regarding Bill C-36 – their purpose has been achieved.

 

The law is a critical step in the movement to prevent sexual exploitation, but this issue is a complex one and there is plenty of work to do.
